HITCHING POST PARK POLICIES
Rates
Each site is 63’ deep and 32’ wide with space in between.
(WE DO NOT HAVE WIFI AVAILABLE, HOWEVER, WE HAVE GOOD SERVICE IN OUR AREA!)
RATES:
Rates are AS FOLLOWS:
Daily $60/day, $40 for each additional day.
INCLUDED IN RENT ARE THE CHARGES FOR: ELECTRICITY, SEWER, WATER, AND TRASH.
Monthly- $400 plus electricity.
Water, Sewer, and Trash included in Monthly
(Month to Month Deposit- $200 Deposit will be refunded to your Credit Card for sites that are left clean and undamaged.)
We request 2 personal references, 3yr residence history, and 2yr employment history. Background checks are done on each person living in your RV.
RENT IS DUE ON THE FIRST OF EVERY MONTH. A late fee of $50 will be assessed after the 3rd and $5 daily, thereafter. If no attempt to pay rent after 5 days, you may be asked to leave with no refund or credit of any kind. Once your monthly rent has been paid, there will be NO REFUND given. Please plan ahead for departure dates and notify us in advance of paying rent.
Residents who are habitually late in paying rent, not following park rules, being unsafe, being unsightly, disturbing neighbors, being destructive to property, etc., may be asked to leave at the owner’s discretion.
We charge a $40 returned check fee.
RV Policies & Info
- All sites are full hook up with water, sewer, and 30/50 AMP electrical. Only ONE occupied RV per site.
- RV sites are for two adults per site and children ages 18 and under. Please notify owners of ALL persons living on-premises. Limit guests to two weeks FOR MONTHLY SITES.
- Additional guests of an RV site must be reported to management if staying over 2 weeks.
- Only two vehicles are allowed per site. An additional charge of $30 will be assessed for the third vehicle for monthly guests. (Storage may be available for boats, motorcycles, trailers, etc. for $45/mo.- see management)
- RV’s over 12 years old must be approved by park management BEFORE arrival @ 830-613-1357 or cindy@rvhitchingpost.com
- Pop-Up trailers, pickup campers, tents, generators are strictly prohibited.
- No dumping of tanks for non-residents.
- NO STAKES for awnings. You may use other means of anchoring your awnings (cinder blocks, etc.). A $50 damage fee to underground water lines will be enforced.
- Any signs or flags must be approved by the owner. US, State, and Military flags are fine.
- No generators, ATV’s or 4-wheelers.
- Golf carts are allowed for a fee of $45/month
- NO DOG FENCING IS ALLOWED.
- Please keep the area around your RV neat and tidy, without clutter. we encourage RV skirting! This helps keep things stored without clutter. No excessive belongings outside.
- No large rugs that cover and kill the grass. You can be charged for damage to the lawn.
Departure Policy
CURRENT Monthly residents must GIVE DATE OF NOTICE TO VACATE, two weeks in advance AND IN WRITING (VIA EMAIL, TEXT, OR WRITTEN FORM) TO RECEIVE REFUND of deposit. It is not sufficient to tell us a “general date” of departure. We need to know so we can reserve sites for other patrons coming in behind you.
Sites must be left clean and in good condition. Remove all belongings and LEAVE THE SITE AS YOU FOUND IT – (no rugs, satellite dishes, antennas, trash, tires, chairs, wood, boxes, bicycles, ground lighting, potted plants, tools, sewer drain tubes, etc. We do not want your trash.)
Cancellation Policy
While we hope you’ll be able to honor your reservation and come camp with us, we understand sometimes things change. If you need to cancel, please contact us during office hours at 775-623-4513. Please be aware that we do not accept cancellations by email.
Refund Policy
We offer full refunds with a $15 service charge for all reservations canceled 7 days prior to arrival date. 7 days to 3 days 75% refund. No refunds will be issued if the reservation is canceled less than 72 hours before arrival.
Campers who don’t call or show for their reservation will be canceled without a deposit refund.
No refunds due to weather or early departure.
Early and Late Arrivals
It’s strongly suggested guests do not arrive before their check-in time. As there may be a wait before the reserved site becomes available. Early arriving guests are encouraged to call prior to check on availability. All sites are assigned in advance, and you will not be permitted to take an “open site” if arriving prior to check-in.
Guests arriving after our office closing time must Call ahead for late check-in instructions. If you’re having trouble with site hookups or other maintenance issues after our office closes, please report them after the office opens the following morning. We do not perform maintenance repairs at night. Late arrivals will be charged our regular nightly rate regardless of arrival time.
Pet Policy
- All pets must have current vaccinations
- All pets are welcome! However, we want everyone to enjoy their stay at the park. Dogs of any breed that are hostile, aggressive, or excessively barking will be asked to leave the campground with their owner. No aggressive dogs OR multiple dogs over 50LBS.
- No more than two dogs are allowed per RV site.
- Please clean up after your pet immediately and dispose into waste receptacle.
- All dogs must be kept on leashes at ALL times when outside of owner’s vehicle or RV. Please do not leave pet unattended or tied while gone.
- NO DOG FENCING WILL BE ALLOWED.
- Pet “messes” and constant barking is disruptive to other campers. If your pet is too vocal, feces is not cleaned up, your pet is a danger to others, or any of the above, you may be asked to leave and terminate your stay without a refund or credit of any kind.
Guests are responsible for all property damage and/or personal injuries resulting from their pets. Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the RV Park, its owners, and its operator from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guest’s pet. The Park reserves the right to charge guest accounts commensurate to the cost of such damages and/or repairs.
